dented downpipe?

hey guys, did a search on this and came up with nothing. I was just wondering how much a slight dent in the header downpipe would affect performance if any? Went over a speed bump today and kinda heard something on the bottom of my car go "boink" so im not sure if i dented the downpipe or not...gunna check tomrorow. But yea, would it affect performance or am i just being overly paranoid >< thanks guys

paraniod, you would of had to hit real hard to damage the header. If you hit that hard, I would check all around to make sure everything else is ok. When I took off the stock manafold, it was all scratched on the very bottom point, but no dents.

wow, can you post pics? Shouldnt do really anything for your performance...nothing noticable anyway, unless its like dented in half. Check your other connections to make sure they are all tight.
