Dear God, $66 for stock spark plugs?
Is there any comparable performance plugs (or better) than the stock NGK plugs for the CL-S? The cheapest I'm finding online is $11 / plug, and I'm just guessing that there's gotta be something out there that'll be cheaper or better for the same price.
I saw a thread in the archived section about an NGK plug that was similar to the Denso Iridiums (at half the price) that a lot of people are using. The NGK web site shows no plugs compatible with our engine--which is nice for verifying part #'s.
Thoughts?

I wanna change them because I just passed 50k, and am gonna be doing a bunch of engine work anyway, so I figured I'd swap them out while I was at it. This was back when I figured it'd be a $20 or less maintenance item.
As far as the NGK Iridiums go, how can I verify a part # for my car? How long are the Iridiums supposed to last?
Thanks

Went with NGK Iridiums
I opted for the $38 NGK Iridiums ZFR6FIX-11.
Hopefully, they'll last long enough and perform well enough to justify not buying the $66 stock Platinums. We'll see...
Thanks for the help.

man so dude hammered you on plugs but for my car for the top of the line NGKs(that's all i'll run) for mine if i remember right i think i can get my set(4 plugs) for like 15 or 20 bucks.I usually change mine about every 3 years or 75,000(which is about the same either way) right now I'm on 2 set i've bought. probably about christmas time of next year I'll have to replace the plugs again(it will be due)
usually a good rule of thumb for a good NGK is 4-5 bucks a plug

Water-S,
I tried www.sparkplugs.com and www.summitracing.com (both mentioned on this forum) and they both had them for $6.40 each. It's the $11 stock NGK platinums that absolutely blows me away price-wise.
What *really* hurts is the little $8 service charge added on top of the order.
At least I didn't have to pay for shipping.

Nashua_Night_Hawk, thanks for the info, but I already stole the part number from your profile off another thread before placing the order.
I kinda figured that you had the right part number on there after seeing all the other good stuff you gots in your CL-S.
I ended up paying about $46 shipped from Summit Racing tonight.
Thanks

Hmmm
You guys would love the service chart at my Acura dealership, I think they recommend a spark plug change every 15000 miles or less! I am sure they charge more than $50 for that service. No wonder they can afford the nice aquarium, coffee machine, donuts and TV in the waiting room. I will have to bug the service rep about it the next time I'm in.
