Dealer's keeping the car overnight (UPDATE)

UPDATE to this thread.

Dealer CANNOT replicate my problem and has spent ALL DAY on the phone with the Acura Tech Line. My S.A., Neil, has been great and sympathizes with the bullshit I've gone through with this car. He'd like to replace the tranny in whole as he thinks that it is a torque converter lock-up issue, but Acura WILL NOT let that happen until they are absolutely sure (Funny, I don't remember any one mentioning symptoms like mine w/their tranny replacements). They want to take her out first thing tomorrow morning to see if they can't get her to act up, hence the sleep over.

Meanwhile, Acura appears to have a new policy about "just replacing shit" that requires for the techs to witness the problems first-hand before certain warranty items are authorized. The hardest part is that my particular annoyances REFUSE to throw up any codes, so they can't even begin to narrow down the issues. Oh well, I get to spend another night with this KICK ASS loaner Integra.

don't worry they will repair it, some problems (esp intermitant ones) are difficult to diagnose....sometimes it just takes time. also could you image how out of hand "just replacing parts" would be if you did not have to reproduce the problem, it would be like "shotgun" repairs (which lead to comebacks)
