Dealer Quote on CT Sways/Springs

Man..........got a quote from my dealer on getting CT sways and spring at the same time including labor..........

$1450.00 plus tax for parts, labor, and alignment

Sounds too high.......what do you think?

Any problems occur when you do the installation yourself?

Other cost-effective options?

I paid $1252 total for the same install at an Acura dealship. Seems too high... but people have said the same to me for what I paid. Bottom line, the install was done correctly by a tech who's been doing CT installs for 5 years and is backed by a factory warranty.

Part--------------------Cost---------Labor---------------Total
========================================
CT Springs------------$ 270--------$ 360--------------$ 630
CT Sways-------------$ 297--------$ 180--------------$ 477
4 wheel alignment-----------------$ 145--------------$ 145

------------------------------------------------------------$ 1252

you could buy the springs and sways from dean for ~ $600 shipped. then have a trusted shop install them for ~ $200. 4 wheel alignment is $70- $100. total would be less than a grand.

You're in Arizona? Hell, pay for my plane ticket, and I'll come install them.
