I would call and have them look at the DC headers to make sure they are 3 bolts..
Alot of places I called that said they had the new DC headers , when I asked to check how many bolts held the J-pipe to the header they told me 2, so I would double check, they might have got the new #'s on there websites but send u the old headers.. Last time I called excelerate (who is the only one I would trust sending me the new design) he said he didnt have them yet (back order) but that was 3 months ago , he might have got them by now.
I ended up getting a good price on some OBX headers and grabed them and installed them w/no problems and no resoanonce , they sound and perform GREAT but do not make them to fit 6 speed..
Someone got there hands on some XS headers that looked like they fit the 6 speed in one of the threads on this site or the 2g TL site not to long ago..
He found a company in china or japan that was still making them..!

Those are not even the correct pic for our headers, I would call and double check cuz when i was on my headers kick I called many places that had the new part# and the all said that it had 2 bolts or it was back ordered.
I think alot of places are sellinbg there old stock as the new part#.
I called kumara and they said that the pic is what u get?!?!?

i had the first batch (the two bolt flanges, not the 3) the only problem i had was installing them. i had to loosen the rear motor mount to get the rear manifold hole over the stud. this was in my auto tl-s. with the 6spd it might be diff bc it has a smaller rear motor mount (i think). i had no leak issues.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO REMOVE ANYTHING
you put the rear header in UPSIDE DOWN then turn it the right way once it's up in that cavity. you put the rear header in from underneath the car.
it would not go in when i tried putting in the rear header right side up. so i flipped it upsidedown and then it went in there. then u just reorient it once uve cleared everything.
let us know if that works for u

I didnt have to remove the rear mount either - granted, that was the XS headers.

My son is having trouble getting the rear header on his o3 Cl Premium. Did you just loosten the motor mount so it could move some or does it have to totally come off. He claims that he may be able to get away with just removing the studs that the header bolts up to on the block.
Nothing in the way,no turning/flipping the headers, plus it's much easyier to get to the bolts.
just line up all bolts loose if their is a fitment issue.
Then go half tight on all the headers to down pipe bolts.do back the front.
Then tighten header to heads all the way up start at rear and then do the front.
Then finish tighten the down pipe bolts.
it should button right up with a fitment issue or not.
Maybe because I did them many times but I don't think it would take a hour to swap.
Depending on what issues you run into with the cat bolts.
That's what makes or breaks the install time.
