Dash rattle located...

Dash rattle located...
Ok after taking my dash apart, which I will post the pictures of that in another post, I found nothing. At this point I started to look under the hood when I noticed there was a lot of free space between the window and the engine compartment. If you look at this picture below you can see that there is a pipe that touches the motor for the drivers wind shield wiper. After putting my hand back there I noticed it moves, only about 1/4 of and inch but it moves. I moved it around then drove for a bit. It was better but still was a problem. Then I put it back and it got worse. I would have opened that area up but it I can't figure out how. I think I am going to take it to the dealer.

If that is the wiper arm linkage be careful not to bind it up with anything. Good luck....

So how did you know it was external? I mean most of the time you can sorta pick out whereabouts its coming from.
What kind of rattle does it sound like? plastic ish? or a tinny metal?
