Looking good as usual!! Did you change back to the stock head? I remember you having a bunch of other stuff..? Looks great though..I need to get moving on what I want to do with my subs and trunk. Does the Silver JL Audio piece come with the subs / sold separately / or did you make that too? Good sh*t.

Yeah, it is useless for now (did I mention the trunk is almost finished?) But I still have panels to build to protect the amps then it's is usefull again.
I hope you would change your opinion after seeing these pics

wow man, thats a great idea for the right side for the amp!! My amp is in the same place, i just took the jack and put it by the spare, or course its wrapped in rubber so it doesnt make noise.

But shit man, any more tricks up your sleeve?

well, the inputs from the screen and stock head unit go into a auto input selector (I built it from a 4PDT relay) which selects an approriate source (which is turned on while the other one is off) then output to the EQ mounted in the center console. The outputs from the EQ then go to one of the 2 amps.

Thanks for all the compliments. Please ignore all the wires at the bottom of the panels for now. I'm doing something about them.
If you are interested or have question, just shoot me an email or PM. I'll try my best to answer them all. Do-It-Yourself rules. If I can do it, y'all can too

Jeremy,

I got it like that from a local stereo shop. They told me it's an upgrade option. I didn't ask them how much it costs. They even show me the boxes which have only the silver front kit in them.

A template wouldn't do any good unless you get the same screen and have the gut to gut out your dash like I did

There is a god!!!

You give me hope!!

I am going to build a similar setup for my car starting in January. In dash monitor, DVD player and upgrading to a 10 disc changer, and a possible second monitor. I'll document my project and post photos later
