Damn it.....I hate this
I got a fixing ticket last night for my front tinted windows. What to do? I DON'T want to take it off. Is there a way of going around it? I don't know any cops in that area. Would it help if i talked to another cop in a different county?? All i need is a damn signature .
HELP! HELP!

Yeah you're pretty much stuck. The only way around it is if you know a cop in that precinct or if a cop friend of yours knows a cop in that precinct who is willing to sign the correction slip.

I don't know how it works where you're at, but here you just have to show up in court with proof you fixed it. I usually just find another car, same make and color, take a pic of it with no tint, and take that in. Works every time.

I’m all for tinting windows, but when you do it in a state where it’s illegal you have to use some common sense.
Your WINDSHIELD is tinted and that’s not gonna get you anything but trouble.
If you go with a light tint like 35% on the sides you are usually OK.
At least in PA that’s the way it is.

Yeah, I'd just take it off...not worth the future hassles. Agreed though that it does look better with it on the front. But if you ever get into an accident, you could be blamed because of the tint.

Yup, I knew that it would happen one day when I got it put on- just pay it. I got a ticket last month for tint, the light meter said my tint was 2% (legal limit in florida is 21%) . The cop was dumb enough to ask me if I knew my tint was illegal so i responded "No way!!! is it really??? I got it from the dealer like that." then he gave me some story about officer safety and how they cant see into the car. Then I thought to myself about how many drug dealers and gang members go around driving in acura cl's and I had to agree. :P
