Damn Acura falling apart.. lol

Okay, I thought Acura was built better than Nissan. I am having my 2nd thoughts on that.

I park the car, and put my sunshade up. I bumped the mirror on the edge, so I had to readjust it. I readjust it, and I see pieces falling from the back of the mirror, and guess what. Damn mirror backing BROKE! The mirror is now hanging by its wires. I am so pissed off ugggg...

Anyways, I can't get a loaner, so the dealer is gonna shuttle me back to work tomorrow.

The same thing happened to me, I entered my car one day, and found pieces of plastic, which used to anchor and create friction for the backing of the mirror to attach to the ball socket. Anyways I took mine to my dealer, drove up, fixed in 5 min, barely sat down when they drove it back up. They said I was the 8th car in that day for this fix!!!!!!!!!!!

Problem in CL, TL and MDX

Your car is a 2001, that is different. Problems are occuring on the 2002 and 2003's, diff mirror support or something

OK Silver this is what I need you to do...
Take one for the team and start f*cking the service advisor Rebecca. If you turn her out I think we can get a lot of free service and parts. She is single and by the looks of her she should be desperate

Just a light tap on the side. Enough to push it up at of my adjustment a little. Then I adjusted it back and that is when it broke. Lately the mirror felt like its been really loose.

It could be worse, they could break your windshield while installing the new mirror. Been there.

Well, 2100 miles and mine hasn't fallen apart yet, although the fitment of the body panels by the grill, bumper, lights area leaves a little to be desired.

The fitment does stink, which is why I had them re-adjust the hood and the rear bumper so it looks better before I bought the car. They did a great job fixing it, but then again, it wasn't from the dealer, it was from the body shop they send people to! Of course, it was all warrantied so I didn't have to pay a single penny for the work.

Phew, that's what I said thank GOD I'm getting a BMW which has no problems whatsoever . You should really stop feeling like you have to defend the CLS every time someone has something negative to say about it.

My mirror just rattles like a mother humper. Clicky, click, click over every bump.

Annoying as hell...
