Dallas area, can anyone help me out?

I'm about to take a trip down to Austin to move some things into my new apartment this saturday. I was really hoping someone who's o so kind and generous would loan me their CL Bra for the day. It's brand new and I really don't want to get a huge gash from a rockchip goin' to move in. I'm ordering one off of http://acuradriver.safeshopper.com/ but it's not going to be in for a week or more b/c of shipping time. I'm buying it there b/c it's a better deal... if no one replies in a day or so then I guess I'll just go get ripped off at the dealership and get it there so I can have it before I leave saturday...

I don't have one, or i would. I drove to NM and back when my car was only a couple of months old and didn't get any chips. You can prolly make it to Austin okay. Throwing on a coat or 2 of wax won't hurt either.

good idea on the wax... what kind should I use? I used to use meguair's on my civic and legend... dunno if there's better out there... I'll just spring 2 bills and get a bra I guess since no one really has one... I'd hate to get a chip this early.. I'll probably need one for long drives anyways...

crazy texas roads + big truckers kickin' up stones = busted ass CLS...

however I'd still really love it if someone could let me borrow theirs until I could order one online for cheaper just hopeful thinking there though...

I don't have one, I wish I would have known about them before I bought my car. It'd be kinda pointless to put it on now with all the chips I've got.

Ditto Mantis. That trip down I35 is not as quick as it used to be with so much traffic and construction...

Since you haven't been around here very long i understand you asking, but hang around some more and you'll here a lot about Zaino wax. Supposedly the best wax out there, it looks amazing, especially on dark cars, and it's supposed to last a long time too. I just started using it a few months back. It's a kinda complicated procedure to apply it, but you'll get the hang of it quick. www.Zainobros.com, or there's a couple places around here to get it. Mantis knows a guy, and there's a Mustang place somewhere in Dallas that sells it, i can't remember the name right now.
