Custom Intercooler tank/reservoir

My 3.5 supercharge intercooler. Here is my new intercooler tank. My iron shop say it will take 3 days but he took 3 weeks!!! Scalbert, I hook up my computer to the car and didn't get a connection. I am using a serial port to a serial port connection. My cheap lap top don't have the connection that came with the emanage. I am not familiar with the Emanage system but all I see was empty chart.

my tank front view

painted my heat exchanger too!

Nice setup.

I'm going to use the trunk mount, but I think Smitty has plans for an under-hood setup.

I didn't fell like dealing with a 4 gallons tank in the trunk day in day out. I want the biggest tank I can fit in the bumper, I basically max the tank out with the space I have. It is only about 4.5 gallons total, inculding intercooler and heat exchanger. Humm... now that I have 50 lbs of water in front of the my tire, does that improve my 60' launch?

Amazing setup. However, would that tank throw off your handling because the tank would be over loading one side?

There's a blower that sits on the opposite side of the car plus the battery that weighs about the same. Also, he removed the washer fluid reservoir so I don't see how it would make a noticable impact.

Thanks. Yes, the ignition is on and both lights on the emange is on. I haven't drove the car with the lap top plug into the emanage. I think it read no connection with main unit when I click on emanage icon. My lap top battery is not dead, which didn't help. I will try it again tonight, this time I am going to use 110 volts outlet to power my lap top tonight.

Be sure the correct COM port is selected for the laptop.

Steve, I have a check engine light coming on once every couple of days. P0133 o2 slow respond Bank 1 sensor 1. I was wondering if the fuel pressure at 25- 30 psi is too low? Did you have that problem? I am going to set it to factory setting at 40 psi at idle with vacuum connected. I remebered I have that same code before I replace my injectors. I know it is not the O2 since it was replace 6 months ago for that same code.

My fuel pressure at idle is 20-25psi. Been that way since i've had the blower installed with no codes.

Yeah, I tried 40psi and the light came on within 10 miles. I will set it at 25 and test drive it again tonight. maybe I do have a bad O2 again?

Check the little hose that is next to the power steering hose on the back of the IC. I had the same O2 problems you are having. The power steering hose kept rubbing a hole in my line (fuel regulator air line), I ended up zip tying the line; however, a 90 degree brass fitting should solve the problem. Also, read my other post, I fixed some air leaks using RTV, car runs much, much stronger now . https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=165192

Let me check on that code tonight and get back with you. My pressure was that low and didn't have any problems.

Did you get a chance to look into it? Anything will help, I know it is not the O2 sensor, I don't feel like checking all the wiring. Chemmech, did you have code P0133 too? or you had some other code?

There was a set back with the battery/alternator fiasco. I do believe there may be a loose connection as the car sometimes looses all power and doesn't want to start(have to put in radio code, reset clock, etc..). This, thank God, hasn't happened while it is running. It still needs the final tuning but all in all it runs very well(almost too well at times)-up to 7lbs. it's great.
Now that the holidays are behind me I can give the car more attention. It may be another 2-4 weeks before I have every thing worked out.
Thanks for the query, I have out off the loop for about a month.
