Arrow Custom/Aftermarket Exhaust discussion thread

Lately I've been seeing a lot of members (new) talking about what kind of exhaust systems they want on their car. I was thinking, why not have the people that have partial/full exhaust systems post up pics and videos and explain what they have.

It may decrease the amount of new threads opening up of, what do you think about this exhaust system...blah blah blah.

I'll go first.

Megan headers
RT high flow cat
2.5" piping to Twister Resonator
to 2.25" piping to Magnaflow mufflers

(I'll post up new pics.)

EDIT: This isn't new stuff, but figured I'd post to show off

Also, if you feel the need to double post for any reason go ahead, and I can merge your posts to keep the thread cleaner.

Well as of now on the typeS motor I have a stock Maganflow catback for the 3.0 Accord so

Comptech headers
stock cat (waiting for a freind to bring me back my RT cat)
2.25" piping to Magnaflow resonator ~18"
2.0" piping when it splits
... pretty much stock size piping.

Open Exhaust:

Tunnel:

Idle and slow take off:

A few Seafoam runs with the RT cat on:

The seafoam does affect the sound while its being expelled hence the runbling sound.
Theres some rasp however around 2K-2500rpm with the RT cat with stock piping small resonaotor and Magnaflow mufflers.

I think its obvious that the mid pipe being larger then 2.5 is too much especially since the header outlet is 2.5 at most. That and Comptech seems to think 2.5 is good enough.

Although at one point I was talking to Shawn at Church Automotive and he mentioned that for 300hp it would be good to have a cross sectional area of 7 sq. in. which is about what you get with 3" piping.

Just found this:

3" is way too big unless you plan on going FI. For NA, 3" piping will more than likely lose you HP and TQ. Hell, 2.5" will probably lose you TQ. I do however recommend a high flow cat, I saw/felt nothing but an increase when I installed mine (with stock size piping).

EDIT:

Oh yeah and I have:

XS Power headers
MagnaFlow/Car Sound high flow cat
Stock 2.25" B pipe
Custom MagnaFlow axlebacks with 2.25" pipes (stock is 2")
