Currently working on a full Bodykit for the CL, (updated on pg.5)

Currently working on a full Bodykit for the CL, concepts inside!
I am currently working on two kits, the 2004 TL full bodykit, bumper replacement and all, and the other is up in the air. Now that the CL is discontinued, it would be a bold move to produce a kit for it, ut I am determined to remain loyal to the CL-S and put one out there to finally give us justice. here is a preliminary conceptual design, I will be making the kit bumper replacment, front and rear as well as sideskirts. I am also contemplating making grille kits that would just replace the whole grille, outer, inner and mesh. it would be similar to the mugen type grille for the 2000 tl. here is an image, and obviously this is all going to be under the RonJon Design Co. brand name. There will be an update in the news section of the site. enjoy:

very interesting. i think i might like it better if the lower grill went all the way across. it's awesome that you are working on this, big props to you.
thanks for the photo credit.

I like the fact that there is no opening down across the middle, gives it a non-stock look which is what you are trying to achieve when you install a bodykit, I hope. here is a slightly differnt angle, but with a more realistic lower part. a little crude, but informative. I may tone it down a bit also.

Make a SEMA kit duplicate. Your prototype is a little over the top.
Huge props for taking the time and effort to even consinder producing one though

SEMA all the way...
I'm having a local shop look into fabricating a look-a-like at the moment. I imagine the sticker shock will bring me back to reality though. Love the style of the SEMA kit... pure class.

CLS 6MT Navi
Thanks for your work, I love that you are committed to the CL when so many are leaving it for the hottest new thing. I read that Z sales are down already.
I agree with many here, my taste is more for the Sema kit. The thing about the CL is, it is a conservative but refined design that just needs some help with it's existing lines. The Sema does that well.
I'd want a kit that doesn't look like an add-on kit for this car.
I'm sure some would be interested in a more dramatic look but I think the more subdued enhancement like the Sema would sell more. The CL style is about refinement, understatement.
I'm usually Not a kit buyer but the CL needs a little enhancement.
For the sleeker 04 TL look the headlights on the CL are too fat and round. The TL works cause the headlights are horizontal.
The curvy lines you have below the headlights that extend from the hood edge narrows the look, the CL needs widening and lowering. I agree the lower part needs to be more horizontal, not broken up. I do like the pointed center line, this is reminiscent of the CLS prototype. I wonder how an ugly license plate would ruin this.
Sorry if I act like I know what I'm talking about, I'm sure you've put a lot more thought into this than me. but I think you're getting some good feedback from the forum. I'd love to buy a kit that enhances the CLs refined yet strong lines. thanks.

'Big Daddy Diggler'
rondog that looks hot, but doesnt the CL need the middle to be opened for the radiator. The cl and 2nd gen TL dont rely on the upper grill, but rely on the lower middle grill area for cooling. If you can incorporate scoops behind the left and right grills to cool the radiator, you will be golden because that kit is on another level.

The 2nd version is HOT HOT HOT!!!
rondog, I have a lot of respect for you for what you are doing, and the method which you are doing it.
I'll get in on that action too, I need a need look for the car.
