crossdrilled rotors

Does any company make crossdrilled or slotted rotors for our cars that fit with the stock rims? I saw the post on the custom made "Brembo" ones (that whole thing seemed shady), but I wanted to know if a reputable company made any in the stock size? Thanks.

So has anyone used the ACP rotors? Are they good quailty? Does the plating matter? (gold, silver, black)

yeah there were a few people who got them and their initial reviews were excellent.

If you are looking for better stoping power i would highly suggest upgraded brake pads!!! Save your self the money because larger rotors will help reduce brake fade but will have little to do with greater stoping distance. Since you live in cali you could go with pads that don't have to account for freezing temps.

Check out this month's car and driver article.

Re: crossdrilled rotors

ACPs are Great ! Color will eventually Fade where Break Pad Rubs, but the rest of the Area will stay nice and "Plated" whatever Plating you get.

www.comptechusa.com has some as well. I think they are the same as the ACP ones, and seem to be cheaper.

I love the warning. NOT FOR RACING!!!

LOL

nope the comptech ones are really powerstop i just put them in, the only annoying thing is the 200-500 mile break in period. But other than that they look great

Thanks for the great info guys!

You guys think one company is better than the other? Also, are there any advantages/disadvantages of the color of plating? (Of course I would upgrade to better pads and ss lines)
