Convert Fog Lights To Daytime Driving Lights?

Has anyone converted the fog lights to be on all the time like a daytime driving light?

That's not hard to do at all, if you would like me to tell you how I can.
If you wanted it wired directly as daytime running lights meaning it won't turn on until you let go of e-brake, and all that I can tell you how.

or else the easier way would just be when ur car is started.

GO VOLS!!!!
I am a transplanted vols fan and have had to eat crow from the Gator nuts. I'm loving it now!
Living in the Tampa area I need something additional for the "gray hairs" and tourists to see me with.

actually doing it for day time running lights is hard. I didn't think it through, hahaha
but for the lights to turn on when ur car is on, just wire it up to ignition wire.
Several places you can find it, on the harness of the back of ur deck, your ignition harness in the steering column. Use a light tester, and start ur car, anything with power that lights up, then shut off the car, if it turns off then great! use that wire, but tap into it and run it into a standard relay to trigger your roadlamps. Do not use that wire as a source for power for your foglights

Did you connect yours to your e-brake to go on and off as it is set and released? I would like the ability to turn them off while the car is stopped and running.

I've rewired mine so that they are on with the marker lights. Just cut them loose from the headlight circuit and tapped them into the marker light circuit. With the PIAA bulb upgrade, this looks pretty cool, IMHO. Wouldn't that meet all of your requirements?

Thay would be better than using the hid"s all the time as I currently do. I am picking up the PIAA's on Monday, ($11.00 pr). I think I will just try to find a hot wire that is controlled by the ignition. I do want the ability to turn them off while sitting still with the engine running. There is a blank cover next to the VSA OFF / Cruise control where I could put a switch but I do not know how much work that would be. What is the blank for? Anybody know?

And maybe get a 5% discount on your auto insturance, like I'm getting . I have wired some hella DE projectors to come on when the ignition is on-

I have the TL foglight switch so I can manually turn them off if I want.

even easier, use the blank panel next to the interior light dimmer switch.
Pop open your fusebox, theres 1 phillips Gold screw there, take it out, and pull on ur underdash, its held in by a few clips, that'll pop off that panel. Then behind that blank plate is two small phillips screws to remove it.

If you want to use the blank panel next to your VSA, you have to still remove that underdash panel, stick ur fingers behind that blank panel beside the VSA and push hard, it will pop out.

Any extra wiring needed to use the TL switch? I am hopping the wiring harness for the CLS & TLS are the same and the wires are already there. Possible???

A friend helped me wire it, it wasn't too hard. I found a diagram on acura-tl.com, and used it to wire my lights.
