Do your steering wheel radio controls ever get confused? Sometimes I hit a button and the wrong thing happens. For example, today I hit the down volume, and the volume went up. I released the button and hit it again and it went down. Or I might hit the volume up button and the station changes (as if I'd hit the middle button).

Never had that happen. I know I have come into the car when the wheel was turned and not gotten it to do what I want but that is when the wheel is upside down.

I've considered human error. But when your're looking at your your left thumb on the down button and the volume is going up, something's wrong.

I always get them confused every other car I have driven with the controls are different, so i'm always fucking up.

On the Escalade the songs are on the right and is seek and on the left is volume
On the Jeep behind the steering wheel Right is track middle and songs up and down and volume is up and down on left
I'm always hitting the wrong buttons.
Oh and the Alero doesn't have any buttons on the steering wheel and I'm sure when I go home and drive it I will be pushing NOTHING. hhaahhah. Oh well.
Imagine if you had an audi and you thought you were changing sound volume and using the tiptronic on the steering wheel that would be funny. I think.

This lady at work has an exact same 330ci as my gf, and 1 day after work i actually tried to get into her car thinking i took my gf's to work.

Messed Up Controls
I just got a 98 2.3 black/black and all three buttons on the steering wheel change the track (CD) or the station (Radio) If i turn the wheel at least 90 degrees, the volume buttons work as they should, but not with the wheel straight. I gotta figure out what's up. Anyone know?

This happened on my 1998 cl. I just took apart the enclosure ,cleaned it with WD40, put it back together and it works fine. There are two screws holding it together in the back. Its simple.
