Comptech suspension kit

Anybody know of the downsides (if any) to putting the Comptech suspension kit on your CL? I know ride will be slightly more stiff than before but what about tire wear, effect on steering, etc? If you use the camber adjustments, should there be anything that you will compromise?

Reason I ask is because I just bought an '03 CL type S that already has lowering kit on it and it looks great but I'm not really interested in replacing the tires in half the time or fixing other stuff because the suspension was lowered. If done right, should there be any diff?

I only did Comptech springs and my stock front tires wore out quickly, so I bought a new set of tires and a front camber kit from Comptech and had everything re-aligned.
Everything is fine now but the cambers cost me $200, labor for the install was $170 and $70 for an alignment, $440 later it drives perfect but pricey.
Some people say they haven't had a tire wear issue after their drop and others do.
I personally believe if the car is dropped, it will need camber adjustment eventually.

An alignment should always be done after the car is lowered. It is usually recommended that the alignement be checked again about a month later because the springs may settle.

Before I had my springs installed, I e-mailed Comptech to ask whether camber kits were necessary with their springs. The answer I received was that every installation is different and that you will only know for sure by checking the alignment after installation.

Most people report that camber kits are not required with the Comptech drop. If your car has been lowered and you are concerned about future uneven tire wear, you should have the alignment checked. That is the only way you can tell whether or not you need camber kits. Even when there are signs of uneven wear, it may be due to alignment problems other than camber, e.g. toe-in.

Is there an easy way to tell/see if a camber adjustment kit has already been put on the car? The car drives true on a flat road so I don't think it is out of alignment but I wonder if the previous owner already did the camber adjustments?
Does anyone have any pics of what their car looks like with the lowering springs on them? I think Comptech springs lower about 1 1/2" but mine looks at least that on the front. Haven't scraped any curbs/speedbumps yet but it is low enough that it makes me go over them very cautiously! Looks very agressive though!!
