Wow the wheels, kit, and rear lip spoiler completely change the lines of the CL. I personally don't like it at all, but you did a good job with the install and the debadging.

To each his own... As long as I like it, and it makes me happy, that is what is important right??

But you are right, Matt did an awsome job doing the install of the exhaust, adjusting the hangers to make it hang just right (my TL kit was in the way at first), and then work some magic to make them not swing back and forth due to the stupid rubber hangers.

The debaging was amazing too!!! Matt had enough detailing supplies to open his mini detail shop.

Matt the garage detailing master!!!

Any way, thanks again Matt, you did a great job, and the exhaust sounds great!!

btw, did you by chance see any letter 'A' lying around your garage floor?? I'm one letter 'A' short. I'll try to look harder under my seat tomorror morning.

I really like both the cars. The comptechs and debadging look good. The only thing I dont like is the front. It reminds me of a chipmunk. I dunno maybe its just me. Those greddy look really big also.

I LOVE the way the Blue CL looks. The kit looks nice and the wheels are a good match.

The only thing I'm not feelin is the debadging. I've never been a fan of debadging on any car.

I'd go for the lip spoiler over the OEM style - too late now, though. The OEM is cool enough

So far so good... The problem I have is when driving in D5, at crusing speed, my RPM likes to be right below 2K, therefore, the exhaust is right at the resonance point. But I think when I drive in D4, I don't have that problem. Plus, it just makes me want to SportShift more often now anyway.

To be honest, I got the exhaust more for looks over performance, so I will install the quiet tips eventually.

Yep, talked about that before, when I had mine done, I elected to not cut the kit up to give the kit more length, so it can wrap around the front bumper at a higher position. Just matter of taste and being pratical. I like the way it looks, and my front lip is overall structurly stronger since it's still in one piece.

you'll have to ask 97124 about that. i know they made a cut at the top so they could bend the plate to match the bumper. then they screwed it in underneath the bumper.

.

one way is to take teh OEM plate holder, put the plate in upside down, then install the holder in upside down. you might need to find some longer screws to get it to hold on sturdily upside down

where did the owner of the blue cl get that lip and kit? that looks really nice..except for the fact that the lip DOES curl up in the middle. Anybody know where i can get a non curled kit like that? and around how much it would be?

You can get a none curled kit by cutting it into 3 pieces, and then make extensions for it to make it longer. That will allow the kit to fit up higher than mine. No excuses for me, I made the decision to not cut up my kit. Plus you have to see it in person, it really don't look at curved unless you get low right in front of my car.

I would say that the Evo exhaust is for sure deeper and a bit louder than the comptech. To me, both sounds great! But I got the exhaust mainly for looks.

CLS2001_97124-
since you made the decision not to "cut up" the front lip, did the side and rear pieces of the kit fit on perfectly? or did you modify those and not the front lip?

I cut the sides, but no need to make "extensions", since our sides are shorter than the TLs. No cutting necessary either for the rear, the shop heated it up and made it longer like they did with the front.

Note: without slightly making either the front or rear longer, there was no way it could fit on to our cars. But in order to acheive the "flat" look to the front kit, you will have to cut it and make the necessary extensions.
