Complimentary gift(S) from Rallye Acura
I take in my car for warranty work and ABS and break fluid breed flush($200). 2 days later I go and pick up the car, and what do I see? Two diesel scratches on the driver side roof. One is over 2 ft long. Now this is the 2nd time they scratched my car. The first time was on the roof. The service dept was closed at that time so I couldn’t bring that to their attention. WTF man, could this be from the car wash?
Now what should be the correct course of action to take on this particular incident? I know it would be really hard to prove them responsible for the scratches.
Thanks

It really depends on the dealer. If they are dicks about it, they will just stiff you and say that the scratches did not happen at the dealership. Take it back ASAP, and talk to the rep you dealt with. If that doesn't work, ask to speak to the service manager and/or the dealership manager.
I dropped mine off to Springfield Acura and there was a small dent on one of the fenders and they had no problems taking care of it, never even said anything about it.
Good luck.

whenever I take my car to the dealer for work, I take my cam, make them walk around my car and find scratches, dents etc and note them on the paperwork, and I take pics. there are no scratches of course, so when I pick up the car, it should be the same. This puts a little pressure on them to be careful.

at plaza automall the tech goes around the car and marks a diagram with every little discrepency and then makes the owner sign it. but thats because everyone tries 2 scam the dealership into fixin their mistakes. needless to say the one for my car is always spotless

Take it back to Rallye. They should take care of it. There are some assholes there, but on the most part, I haven't had a problem with the dealership.
My cousin got his 01 TL scratched up there (just surface scratches), and they took care of it.
