Compatible SEAT OPTIONS/UPGRADES For a 2001 CL Type S?
Hi guys!
Just finding this amazing forum and so happy to be here. Recent new owner of a higher milage, 162k, 01 Acura CL type S automatic.
I'm looking to replace the worn out leather seats with anything more comfortable, and snug....maybe Recaros of some sort?
Not sure the compatibility this car has with other cars/models but I am seeing some Honda Accord compatibility when looking for parts online.
Thank you so much for the help!

I've also been thinking about possibly changing my seats and did some looking around. Sparco makes a bracket specifically for our car to accept their sports seats. Should work to fit most any other sport or racing seat.
And yes 98-02 Honda Accord coupe seat bracket fits with little to no modifications from what I saw in a YouTube vid.

Thank you!
I guess Sparco's may be the best and only route. I know the air bag light will be on after I remove, but I'd rather be comfortable and snug in a sport seat than slopping around in this slick leather one.

Couldn't agree with you more on sliding around in the stock seat. Plus after my best attempts to keep them in shape my seat has finally developed a slight tear.
You don't have to live with a SRS light if you put in a little extra work. The solution is to add a resistor to the correct pin in the wiring harness coming out of the carpet after you remove the seat. This way the computer will think everything is still plugged in and it won't deactivate the rest of the airbag system.
