the type s may be quick, but the cobra is fast - violently so (and loud).

this car is a hoot and a holler...

I must admit it was nice to be able to light 'em up while rolling along at 5-10 mph in 1st gear, and the car had the intoxicating ability to make the horizon appear very close very suddenly.

the clutch and the noise level (tires and exhaust - the car is really doesn't have any major squeaks or rattles) really aren't my style, but if it weren't for the fact that I commute every day on the parking lot known as I-10 west, I'd love to have a cobra.

now if I can just convince pull_t not to be such a hoodlum in my neighborhood...

I would definitely get a cobra anyday(if i have the extra cash to get a sports car but not enough for an M3)

My friend wouldn't let me drive it. So he took me for rides and oh my god was it fast. He had some mods in it, i don't remember what they are since it was like 2 yrs ago. This car felt like it did 0-80 in 2 sec, FELT. The push kicked my head back so my that I almost got knocked out, haha.

 

Wouldn't let you drive it? What a tool. Was it supercharged or something?

 

I don't really know, I didnt know him that good. We hung out a few times and thats it, hes my ex's friend. He said he put about $10k in it though, instead of paying $40k for an S4, he spent less than $30 for the cobra, then put the extra $10k in mods. I know he had 2 tank of NOS in it, he wouldnt use it though, said it was expensive and no need to use it unless hes in a race and about to lose.

 

the next car i buy and/or build is going to be stupid fast w/way too much torque. the cobra sounds like a blast.
