traced the lines and i connected the two lines. one of the fittings was being a bitch but after a bleeding knuckle and a scratched up arm. i got it loose. went for a drive (noting hard) and all gears engage, and no leaks. tomorrow ill beat on it a bit and bleed the lines

Yep just connect the 2 lines together. The damper will be left in place with nothing plugged into it.
You used a SS line or regular hose? Did you bleed the system a little?

i took the damper out with the bracket. i connected the hard line to the rubber line. i didnt bleed it at all. im gonna order the ss lines in a few days.

should i use dot 3brake fluid or 4? i will abuse it alot.

Go with 4. Replace all the fluid while youre at it.

I left the bracket in place so it still holds the SS line in place securely.

so after days of testing and beating the hell out of it. all shifts are strong and solid. shifting to 3rd gear at wot, never slipped or was close to slipping. with the dampener in, it would sometimes slip if i shift quick and then go wot.

ive also noticed when im slowly releasing or applying the clutch i feel some vibrations, just for a split second, but i hardly notice it now.

still need to flush and bleed the system
