CLS vs CLS manual vs S2000
I'm kinda board of my auto CLS. I've always leaned towards S2000 since the begining. However, being a 2 seater and convertible, S2000 is not a practical car for everyday driving. Now, I'm thinking to trade in my 01 CLS for an S2000 or a 03 manual CLS. Will you please help me decide? What are the pros and cons? And much is my 01 CLS with 11k miles is worth?
ps: I'm single, so more than 2 seats is not very improtant.

I would recommend that to find the value of your car go to Kelly Blue Book, www.kbb.com and impute your info and adjust to your according value... you will probably get less but don't cave in too soon!!
As far as which car to chose... simple. Those are all totally diff cars IMO and you should be able to decide... after all, you will be stuck with the car

Depends on the condition, and trade-in from a dealership will be less than what you'd get for a private sale (dealer has to make a profit). The S2000 is a great machine, but it's not all that fun to drive as a daily commuter. I rented an S2000 for a day for the hell of it, and below 6000rpm, there's not much oomph...not dog slow, about as much pep as a Civic Si, but unless you plan on beating the snot out of it, the CL-S 6-speed is a much better choice.

I'd wait. Even though the manual cls is faster, there is not a HUGE difference in speed and probably none in handling characteristics. There are many cars coming out very soon. Some other options are the 350Z, G35 coupe, EVO VII, and other from various car companies. A redisigned, CLS is coming out soon too.
