Um no, there are several supercharged motors whom have blown piston rings, and cracked blocks. Once again, I'm not talking your standard run of the mill pulleys, headers, intakes. I'm talking adding real power. From on of the more well known shops around here in New Jersey where Jae operates, hes had to do several tear downs on boosted motors.
How many Honda motors? There are plenty of cars that have been bored or stroked, turbocharged, supercharged, what have you. And they're running fine. Hell, two seriously modded CLs have posted in this thread. This coming from someone who brags about his CL's low mileage. Besides, most Hondas can't last that long with routine mileage as well. well since most of the Acura Cl type s's are auto, i can say you are bragging about the car that gave Acura/Honda a black eye! And the CLS is the most problamatic and cost me more in repairs then any other car i have owend! I know you don't have a auto so that changes a few things for you. But for the other 95% of CLS's with and auto it is likely the worst car reliability wise Acura/ Honda has ever made!
So I think the beemer will do just fine against the CLS

Did you read the article. they are talking about the fuel pumps. I did not see anything saying the engines were bad or having to be replaced.

Reading and comprehension is an essential aspect in life. All of my posts about the CL-S are reffering to the 6-Speed, you know, the one that the whole thread was based on?
Also, even if we do include the auto's, maintaining 335's are way more expensive than the CL's tranny replacement when added up over the 8-year span. I personally know 4 people who have had 335's. One of them traded it in as a lemon, and the other 3 have had brake defects, turbo problems, and the defective fuel pump problems. Well since most of the repairs are under warranty on a 3 year old car how can you say it cost more? And also how can you say that over a 8 year span it cost more then a tranny repair when the car is at best 4yrs old?
Did you do any research on the cost of repairs? Or are you just guessing again?
