to clear a few things....for you not wanting 18's and sticking with 17's
to tell you the truth...you are not going to feel a difference between your 17's and 18's...at least not in ride quality. Things you will notice are that the steering is far more responsive and handling is improved. As long as you stick with at least a 40 series tire you are in the clear. I went from 16" stock to 18" and to tell you the truth...i couldn't tell a difference other then the steering was a TEENY bit heavier.

I agree, even with 19"s, you lose very little ride comfort but the steering is just a bit heavier. IMHO, the pro's of 18"s or 19"s out weight the con's...

well in my opinion 19's might be extreme because i believe they only make a 35 series tire...but i agree with you
