Hey Nate, sorry I never answered to you're PM, but it looks like you found Jeff's e-mail address and sent in the CL diffusers already.
I'm stuck on a 56K modem, so I didn't even read through all three pages.
I will post pics of the TL versions once I get them, so EVERYONE can get an idea how it looks.
Trust me guys, it won't be $95 like the S2K versions. Since the TL and the CL ones are so similar. The pricing would probably be the same as the TL ones. Which is $72 + Shipping.

Thanks for your input on this Ray, We would not be as far on this if it were not for your contact and thread over on A-TL forums, and thanks to peiqinglong for his effort. I would pay $72 +S for these.
Please do post pics as I am sure you will have them soon and many want to see them in the chrome light housings as well

Nate, I'm happy to be able to bring a new mod into existance.
On a side note, these still are illegal. Since we are still changing them out for CLEAR OPAQUE reflectors instead of the orange pieces which made the car legal. If we had orange sidemarkers mounted onto the fender, then it's legal.
But the rear is different. The rear only needs a RED reflector, and the taillamps takes care of that. If you look at the side of your taillamps, you'll see the reflector.

haha... okay. I don't plan on installing sidemarkers.
ElegantTL-S: I guess it was this section I was referring to: http://www.dmv.ca.gov/pubs/vctop/d12/vc24609.htm
In any case, this is not a big issue with me or I would also consider putting a front plate on my car..etc. etc...
The primary purpose of this mod is for clean finished looks and function.

I wouldn’t say "a lot" frank, not the kind of numbers that the Accord would have for example. keep in mind this is a domestic only car we have and clears DO BEST on cars that are in the JDM market.
Oh, and the TL is slightly different in shape, therefore it is a Whole separate mold producing those. Shop around and if you can get on produced for less then GREAT. However there are Companies in places such as Taiwan that want a minimum of like a $5,000 order to even consider the project.

haha... not really lou. I just heard that the pricing should be established by next week. As you can see the TL set is completed above. Expect ours to have a resembling look and probably be priced nearly the same.

I'm guessing that is the camera flash picking up the reflective aspect.
Just like when we shoot pics of the amber set, when we have a flash pointed at it, its looks so bright.

WiLd~CL: Jeff said they should ship in a week or two.
ch1276: check out the site, there is a conversion option also.
http://www.ricks2k.com/products/AcuraDiffusers.htm
lou: I'm guessing that like they did for the S2000, they would make smoked if there was the demand to do it.

hey nate maybe its just that picture would you happen to know if anybody else has them installed yet. Im still interested....is there a night pic with the lights on that would definetly show a difference. I still think it looks better with it than without and the conversion is something to think about.

Comment on the PIC
The lens are not installed in that pic. They are taped over the amber diffusers, with a white sheet of paper between the clear diffuser and the amber diffuser to hid the amber. He should have installed them late last week. We should be getting updated pics once the installation is completed and he (the owner) e-mails them to us.
Since that is the only shipped Acura diffuser to date (Prototype 20-03 TL) we will have to wait
If I drove an Acrua or had someone (anyone) close to me that did, I would have installed them my self and shot the pics. Since I drive an S2000, all I could do is install the S2k version in mine
So here is an offer. If someone is located in Houston,TX or is willing to drive here. I will install them for free. You pay for the diffuser, and I will install them into the headlights. PM me to shedule a time. (Note: First one gets it)

That explains why the above pic didn't look quite right.
I am going to clear mine out as soon as soon as the CL clears come in.
(I'm trying to be patient )

Most likely Im going to wait for the $200 and they clear them for me approach. I have no problem doing it but its much easier to blame someone else if they fog. Did anyone go this route or did everyone just buy the diffusers???

i panic'ed for a min, cuz the site said '02 - '03 CL/CLS, and i thought bout the fact that the '03's are blacked out, while the '02's aren't...then i remembered Mr. Big's pic and that it was a clear diffuser on there...perhaps they should mention that the diffuser for the '03 is NOT blacked out like the rest of the housing
