um... i raced ayougo who has a 97 5spd 2.2cl with all the bolt ons. when i was stock i walked him in 3rd gear like 5 car lengths, more if we went up to 110. so yea u got no chance unless u go for some FI or nitrous.

the car might beat me, but it all comes down to the driver. Plus she's my girlfriend so I wouldn't race her (saves me the embarrassment). Wut would happen after I get out of high school, and do the H22 w/ a t23 turbo?

The CLS's 3rd gear pulls pretty hard from what I keep hearing...

how handsome I am
you're gonna get raped
drop a turbo or spray a 100+ shot and make sure shes stock - slash one of her tires too. That might help you keep some length on her.
Otherwise, like others have stated before me, call it a day.

mmmm......yea this is one of those on going disputes, kinda. If it had to be classified under NA or FI, some say NA while others say FI. I understand why it shouldn't be under FI, but I also dont like the idea of it being classified as NA.
Although not "forced" into the motor, it still has the same concept (or idea, purpose, whatever..) as the supercharger and turbos, and that is to provide the engine with more oxygen than is provided in the air. Nitrous injector plates are considered FI though. So I'm not going to argue, just simply state that I can understand both sides.

reason why i say FI or Nitrous is because i dont consider nitrous to be FI power adder seems to be the best term for it, nitrous is in a class of its own.

I saw this and thought I'd drop my $.02... If I were at a drag race and saw your car and your girls car lining up a the tree, I'd say "we'll I guess I'll go grab a beer now before I miss a REAL race..."
Dude, don't even get off the couch. It'll be total shame.
