CL-S6 $19,000...39,000miles!

that pretty much says it all, but i HAD! to post this...i was shopping through autotrader.com and this particular one is in a carmax in Kenosha Wisconsin. such low miles, red with black interior...i wish i had 19k right now! so maybe someone on this forum is in the market for a 6-speed so it doesn't go to waste...maybe it is someone on here, or it can tell you how much your 6-speed is STILL worth after 4 years...lowest mileage CL ive seen AND 6 gears...worth every penny.

Even if it has Navi, the "clean retail" on that car is about 17.5K with that amount of milage.

Remind them that the car is 5 years old and the model has been discontinued for years. Then offer them $16K

Wow thats nice to hear. I got a 6 speed with 31k bought it with 20k. Other than a few door dings its still mint. I hope that car sells for 19g's, but I doubt it. The depreciation is not great on these cars. But its not as bad as everyone thinks if you keep your car in nice condition.

16K is the most, remember, it's a 2003 car with FRONT WHEEL DRIVE, my friend.

Carmax usually over prices their cars. At least the ones by me do. Have to be careful with them. I've heard tons of shady stories about Carmax cars.
Also don't ever get their warranties.

But yeah it's high. I got my car with 44K miles 2 years ago for $19K.

in 2000, my cousin bought a 1995 Talon TSI AWD from Carmax, which turned out to be his 'project' car, where he has turbo upgrade, intercooler, downpipe, intake exhaust, injectors, fuelpump, suspension, etc.. basically the only thing he didn't touch is the body.
It's been running great for him, and he did get a good deal on it.

I do have to add, that it was almost never sent to carmax for any repairs.

if it had navi, then maybe 18 would be tops for it. I got a 2003 6 speed with navi and a few mods for $19.5, and it had 15k miles on it.

Yeah, like Ron says, if it had less miles and had navi it could be worth close to that...

I'm thinking it's worth 17K or so... that's kbb book for a private sale, but 19K is what they say for dealer retail (15K for trade in).

Ouch, while I was there, I noticed that my 6spd has a trade in value of about $12K

navi really doesn't up the value of the car anymore.. even though it costs $1000 to convert it.. i mean i used the cl-s stock navi and it's not that great...
