Modded with bolt-on, CL-S-6MT, with a good driver should be in sub 6, low 14, @100 MPH easily...
I wish one day we will see a SMT (clutchless) version of this one!

Just drove it this morning. As the other guy said, very fast. The manual makes the car much more lively.
The clutch catches really low --- I almost stalled it when I came out of the parking lot...
Smooth up and down shifts. The parking brake --- now located where it should be --- felt cheesy, but it's a prototype so it's gonna be changed.
No noticible torque steer, althought I am having problem launching it hard --- keeps spinning the damn wheels.

They added the cheesy parking brake on the center console, close to the passenger seat. The cupholders are cheesy too, just 2 holes aft of the shifter close to the driver side. There's no cover for them.
The whole center console, though, is obviously a hand made prototype (dull cheap plastic). The arm rest is covered with cloth instead of leather!
I am sure they'll make it look better when the production model comes out.
There are no other changes. The lady told me it's simply a 2002 CL Type S with a prototype 6-speed manual bolted to it.
I was hoping I could show it off to some fellow TypeSer while I am driving, but didn't see any...

Thank goodness it will have a tight clutch!!!! The clutch on the RSX needs to be let out until your knee hits your teeth before it catches and stinks for performance. A good, tight clutch should make you almost stall it the first time you take it out. I had a heavy duty clutch put in my 240SX and I stalled it the first time I pulled out of the parking space. But, I can also tell you that the car was sooooo much faster than with the older clutch it's not even funny. In a car with 140HP I was more than chirping on all of my 1-2 upshifts. It was a lot of fun. This post is making me think about things way too much.

I'm with you. Just adding a manual to our engine isn't going to make me wanna take a $$$ hit. I'll wait for at least 300hp and a manual before I bite.
I also want to see if it gets good ratios on them gears, or are we gonna wind up with 3 good gears and 3 overdrive gears?
