What do you think the lowest price i can get a month for the following lease:
cl type s with nav, 36 or 39 months, nothing down.

I was shooting for around $435. Is that a long shot? I know the price can vary from different dealers, i'm in new york.

Yes a very long shot! I got mine for 439 a month on a 42 month lease. But the difference is I put ZERO money down. So if you shell out like 3 grand then yes you can get that rate

 

The price should be going down with the new rsx out and the fact that the 2002 is just around the corner.

 

By nothing down, do you mean $0 dollars or just no Cap Reduction (when you read $0 down in the newspapers, its means just tax and tags up front, first payment)- on a CL-S, thats around $2500 total (your in NY so they only tax you on your payments).

I'm at $439, 36months, 12k/year, with tax/tags up front, first payment, etc.

If you roll taxes in, expect to be around approx $465-$485/month for 36-39months...since there will be interest on your tax as well.

By nothing down i meant nothing out of my pocket. I would put down the normal first month, bank fee, and security deposit. That should come to about 1250-1300. As for the tax, it would be included in the payments. So my goal is $435-450, and believe me i'll go to 10 different dealers before I accept the fact that i cant get my price.

 

You may actually have a better shot at your price waiting for an 02 CL-S, because at this point- its so late in the year, that the residual is at its lowest for the 01's....so even though there might be some aggressive pricing on the 01's- the lower residual makes up for it...you will definitely get a good deal on an 02 and the residual "will" be higher.
