i was wondring if cl 01 type s ..has a fuel filter ... i asked my mechanic and he said that my car does not has one ... if sumbody knows please leme kno ..

CL'er 1st & 2nd Gen's

Fuel filters have been around for 50 years. Don't all cars have them? I think I'd look for a new mechanic.

no your tech is right the 01 - 03 cl does not have a serviceable fuel filter... only one is in the gas tank ( not servicable)

no u can change it...its in the trunk on top of the gas tank

yes you can CHANGE it but its not a servicable fuel filter ... in other words it doesnt need to be replaced. its not a filter its a mesh over the pump to prvent debris from entering the pump... thats it.
