CL angel eyes
thinking about putting BMW angel eyes to replace our "fogs".
(by angel eyes, i am refering to both the lit ring as well as the inner lamp or other angel-eye-esque lamps as found in Jaguar)
here are my queries:
is it feasible to operate the angel eyes lamps outside of the headlamp housing or is there some type of sealing as in our headlamps?
do both the headlamps and the highbeams have the angel eye feature? and if so, which do u feel would perform better as a for/road light?
tanx

trying to get a lil V-I
I was going to do this for the High beam ring on our headlights. I even put in a few bids for Angel Eye kits on eBay. Basically it'll involve removing the entire headlamp assembly, drilling holes in the housing for the two ends of the light rings to go through and wiring them up. It's probably a bitch so I decided not to do it.
look up angel eyes on ebay and you'll see the kits i'm talking about

I was doing the same thing but it seemed like it was a LOT of trouble. Maybe on a snowy day during the winter I'll try it... but it's way too time consuming to attempt now.....

Of course you are going to have to open up the headlamp housing to put it in, and no, it's not going to be a perfect fix from e-bay, you are going to have to mod it a lot...
