any body think that its a bad idea to go ahead and tune it with my current harness?

it appears you can tune w/ it, it just may be harder

You can get different maps for the UniChip, you don't have to buy another one.

EDIT: You said your tuner is good. No need to worry too much.

how would I go about getting a new and correct map?

Your tuner should know how to get a pre-made map from UniChip. If he doesn't call them yourself.

forget about the wires and map B, unless you want to do a race gas tune for map B.

just tune your car with map A.

It may be best to have your tuner speak to someone at unichip directly to cut through all of this misunderstanding.

You already have the module and the PnP harness. All your tuner has to do is upload the new map into your module for the S/C with whatever mods you have. It is already pre-programmed for your mods. He can fine tune it if he likes but you will have a map already setup for your mods from Unichip.

so all he has to do is download then upload the correct map to my module? Then he can fine tune it? Sounds pretty easy.....

I had it and want to emangement was going to install S/C but ran into finance promblems it for sale now 4 months old I just put new neo in it nice but, does'nt have the same tunning advantages it is really foS/C
