And YES.. the CL-S was DIRECTLY compared to the 325Ci, the reason you meager-minded fools.. for this comparison is because the cars are in the SAME class and Same price range. Why don't we all stop looking at the 0-60. Do you even discuss QUARTER MILE times?? Thats what a real race would be.. a real race isn't until you reach 60 miles per hour. Now I'll tell you one thing.. our A4's over on AudiWorld are clockin' in Quarter Miles in 1.8T A4's in the low 12's. So now you tell me who won. Thats an In-LINE 4 too!!! Thats right, Audi doesn't even need a comparable engine. And for the idiots looking at 0-60 on STOCK, if you knew anything about the A4 1.8T, It comes MAJORLY down-tuned. The use they make of the Turbo, and Air flow system they have is kept to a minimal.. but guess what APR chip = 200HP on my In-Line 4. If I threw an APR exhaust with the APR chip I would smoke stock CL's. Thats pretty pathetic.

-= Stock 325i's are getting 15.6 second quarter miles

http://www.car-videos.com/performanc...?id1=177&id2=0

_= Stock '03 Acura CL-S 14.6 second quarter mile

http://www.car-videos.com/performanc...D1=177&ID2=183

** You think I can't make up that 1 sec. in MODs **

FUCK 0-60 .. look at the 500ft test... the 325 was only .5 seconds slower...

KEEP READING THOSE 0-60s though.. are we in High-School???

:noob: Audi's suck. 20+ check engine codes when they are delievered off the truck to the dealer from the factory. Sure they can be made fast and that's good so you can get it to the dealer ASAP to fix all the shit that breaks down.

Shut up, from a VW tuner you should get your facts straight.

For an A4 to pull low 12's needs some major component work, DP, chip, exhaust, and some sticky tires won't even get it that low. So before you go trolling knowing what the fuck you're talking about, make sure you know who's who in the forums. The k03 turbo on an A4 won't last long running that comparable time, you'll be running almost 20psi to trap that low. Yeah, simply upgrade to a bigger turbo... You will not win with a APR/Revo/GIAC/whatever chipped (LOL you said exhaust, if you knew wtf you were talking about, you know a DP is where the power gain is in the 1.8T, NOT the exhaust) to a CL-S stock, from a launch yes, but the CL-S will jump on you easily.

BTW, you're the only one talking about 0-60 here, I haven't seen anyone mention it....

$95k isn't that much when you're paying for a house, supporting a wife, 2 kids, and private school for the kids. I make far more then $95k, and the CL-s was the most expensive car I've bought to date!

Whoever said they'd be driving a $60k car when they made $95k is obviously smoking crack, living in a trailor, or both. That's crazy. I'd drive a car around the price of a CL-S, pay for a decent house, and support the family.

That idiot said the real race is in the quarter-mile. Yet he says a real race isn't made on a launch, rather over a distance.

That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Any weekend drag strip racers would know that the launch is half the race, and one second is actually a HUGE difference.

Also, he said 0-60 sucks and that we should look at the 500-foot race. For the record, a 1/4-mile is 1320 feet. What a basket case. Hahaha!!

I wonder if he ever got a BMW or still stuck with his Audi. And all that talk about class and style... please. BMW's are a dime a dozen around here, especially the 3-series. Nobody gives two shits about BMW's anymore because there's one around each corner. But the CL and TL? They are a rarer sight, and they look so much better.

This guy is a total loser. I mean, if he actually had a modded BMW and talked shit about Acura, then his actions would at least be justifiable -- he feels sorry for himself for paying more and has to justify himself by putting down BMW ... but yeah, he doesn't even have a BMW and he talked about modding this, modding that, talking like dropping one second in the quarter-mile is nothing. Trapping at 100 mph, one second is about a 147-feet difference. Yeah, that's nothing, right? Besides, he talks like his 1.8T is God's gift, but it's not all that. One of the guys in my car club is modding his 1.8T GTI and it's a long way to go.

I hate people like him. They talk like they know everything, but in actuality, they really don't know shit. It was evident by his quoting of quarter-mile times from magazines. A real car enthusiast who frequents the drag strip would talk real-life times, not some numbers from magazines. What a fag.
