I heard that the only way that you could loose power is if you put in new larger diameter piping from the headers back.

you should look into axle back systems. Kind of expensive but i bet that chrome magnaflow mufflers are a couple hundred a piece too. Plus no welding, so you could eventualy put your old mufflers backon when you sell it.

Won't those new mufflers require custom fabrication for connection to the stock Y-pipe? If so, unless they are also stainless steel and are mandrel bent, you might very well lose some power.

Plus I don't think they would look very good because the cutout in the rear fascia isn't large enough to accomodate both tips.

just what i was thinking too....i am not sure if the pipes will fit...most likely would have to have all new pipe work done...and the other problem would be the cutout on the ass of the CL-S...i am not sure if it could accomodate both tips.......the diameter of each tip is 3.5" ....never really measured the cutout before.

This site is really good for something....i have to tell my gf that!!

Thanks fellas
