i'd be more worried about fitment and installation.. it's almost impossible to get a CF hood that is identical to oem. and if it is, it usually doesn't fit snug like the oem one does. and i hate creating a problem with a mod. that is a pet peeve of mine

VIS is the best of the lot and had that one myself.

You can make some slight adjustments with those knobs in the engine bay.

I don't think I have ever seen an AM CL with a CF hood. I think I seen one on every color but AM.

Unless u do over 110-120 mph constintly, u will be fine without hood pins. The reason I put them on bc around those speeds and faster the front corners of the hood would lift ever so sligtly and vibrate a bit

Yeah the hood would shake a bit on the freeway but nothing major.

What scared me was that it rattled loose the nuts holding down the hood so I had to check them every so often.

I raced my boy's Camaro once a while back with hoodpins, his hood flew up at 70 mph, I was fuckin dying when I saw it in my rear view, lol.

Want mine? Actually I'm going to get it to fit and put the rumors to rest. Sometime this spring hopefully.

I think you should get it, seeing that your doing the CL diet.
You don't have to worry about it needing hoodpins, I haven't needed them and I have taken the car above 120 often.

Really rattled loose some of the nuts? That sounds crazy. Did you sell yours Noah? It wasn't on your car in your latest photoshoot. I was wondering what you did with it because it had that clearcoat damage.

Link to the ABP please (Not because I don't believe you, but because I actually am curious to see what it looks like).

Also, keep in mind that I'm not talking about the sundance gold, I'm talking about the old person gold.
