so i've had that cd stuck in a while and i tried everything to get them out tweezers, toothpicks, hittin the side of it. i called acura and complained and they gave me a case number and all that crap and just called me back and said that they would do nothing! they said that whenever you put in a cd-r you are taking a risk !!! no! that is not a damn risk, it's not skydiving its playing a cd! what the hell am i supposed to do? i assume beyond legal action customer care is the final word. does anyone have any ideas on what the do?

if its under warranty, which i assume it is, they have to fix it. i dont know about you, but my car doesn't have a warning label on the cd player saying "playing cd-r's is a risk", they just are busting balls. give the corporate offices a call

They replaced the deck in my 03 TL no problem. Didn't even check if i was lying, just ordered me a new one and popped it in

ask them for written proof to where it states,, CD-Rs are at your own risk... in a manual

i have called everyone i can! i can not understand! this is that most shit i have ever heard in my life! my dealer says they can do nothing, everyone at acura says they can do nothing. i work at a chevrolet dealership and my family owns it and i know that this is not how we do it. i was sure once i called acura they would gladly go ahead a fix it, but they did not. i was about to buy a new TL. i love my car, and have had no problems with it besides the tranny which they fixed with no problem and even gave me an mdx to drive while they did it. it just blows my mind. i am sure after a while i will resolve this but i just can not believe that it is taking this long! if anyone knows who to hit in the face let me know

well you kno i had the same problem. but what i did was that while the little plastic flap opens up trying to eject the stuck cd i stuck another cd on top of the stuck cd and just kinda dragged it out it worked for me its worth a shot
