That looks awesome CleanCL! I can't wait to see it all. Personally, I understand the logic behind you wanting to paint it but.... It's so pretty on the NBP.

And GreenMachine... Personlly, if you did a different tint on your car like a straight 15 or 20% instead of that fading stuff, the CF parts would look hot on yours too.

It looks like you've got the carbon fiber bug...thats what happens if you linger around too long in my thread. haha.

Don't paint it.

The OEM seats are quite heavy...look into some recaros, brides, or sparcos.

Nice I never knew the spare weighed ~30 lbs, alot of people take out the spare and just get one of those green Slime Kits w/ compressor (~8lbs).

WOW, that looks hot can't wait to see that in person!
How is it when you open it, does it fly open because of how light it is or does it open regular?

Yea, look into a fix for that, maybe the lip your adding on will help that a bit but that thing flying open can crack the CF fittings with the impact when it stops

Hey want to trade the trunk for a clear spoiler brake light LOL

hehe, yea, i dont think adding any spoiler will help. i bought a clear spoiler LED and i didnt like the look on the black. i'm going to be wingless for now. i just stand behind my trunk and use my remote trunk button for now too. but does anyone know how to get those springs out without killing yourself.

just take it to an acura dealer ship and have them remove one of the spring with teir special tool. when I got my spoiler added on I had to get the sronger springs installed, and the local honda dealership did it for free.

i can just imagine, "can you adjust my trunk springs for free, the carbon fiber trunk is just too light", they will laugh at me.

I'm sure you already know, but just to make sure... you do know that the spoiler is fake CF right?

just dont understand why you would buy a fake CF one and even worse, one with an LED strip in it.

LED spoilers are better IMO, and i dont care if it's fake carbon, real ones are too much, and it's all getting painted so why does it matter.

Post more pics when the spoiler gets installed. Hows the quality of of spoiler anyways? IMO the pictures of the spoiler makes it look really cheap.

fitment was perfect, install took 5 minutes. i need to remove at least 1 of the springs. i may remove them both and install hydraulics like the hood has. hood comes in sometime next week, unfortunately i can't get them painted until next year. on with the rice.

Are you seriously going to get your carbon fiber hood and trunk painted? Or I'm just reading it wrong? Why would you want to paint it if you are going to? That's like a waste.

Painting it would give it a more sleeper-ish look, not necessarily a bad thing.

This might be of topic but is the actual acura emblem screwed in or is it glued on. I was thinking it might look good if you just put the letters saying ACURA.

But then again I'm new here just my opinion...

the A emblem in the middle is the only thing that has holes. the rest of the lettering is just glued on.
