Carbon fiber hood issues

so i ordered my hood from OE tuning in august, still haven't gotten it so i cancelled it today. Are there any other places that make hoods for our car or is that the only one?

VIS makes a CF hood for our cars. I see them selling it on ebay once in a while.

Where do you get the hoodpins for them? I got one but never received the pins... so I need to scoop those up from somewhere. Can I just buy universal pins?

Dont buy a carbon fiber hood from ebay. those are probably more fiber glass than carbon fiber.

I ordered a carbon fiber hood for my civic and it tok 6 months of fighting with them before they sent it.

and then i got into an accident 2 weeks later.

i wish i could get a carbon fiber hood that was of high enough quality that you dont need hood pins. but that'll be the day. that's the only thing that's kept me from getting the vis hood

i have a vis hood on my integra and it came with the bracket that goes right into the factory latch, i didnt put hood pins on and i havent ahd a problem at all, the onlky reason they put that is so they cover there ass

ohh and ive had the car up to atleast 120 with it on and no problem

my previous car was an integra, and with the way the integra hood is designed there is less of a chance of that hood flying off than the cl hood. the cl hood has the air vent at the front of the hood where the latch is, and because of this i'd be worried that if the hood i bought were either poorly manufactured or if it weren't that strong over time it would wear and the latch area may break and let the hood fly off while driving.

anyone else think of this as well?
