car wont start after brake install
Just got done installing some rotora rotors/axxis ultimate pads both in the front and rear. Install was simple. I removed the caliper, screws with impact driver, removed rotor, reversed process. First time trying to start the car the starter would make a flat sound. Not the cranking over sound, just a flat noise. The traction control, abs light, and brake light all are on with ignition turned on also. Is there some brake sensor that could possibly get messed up when tapped hard with the impact driver? Also i noticed when taking the rear rotors off there was a rubber piece on the inside of each rotor. Do those need to be taken off the stop rotors and put on the rotoras?

thanks for the advice, i just went outside and tried to jump the car but that didn't work out, so i guess i am gonna have to jack up the car again and check all the brake connections, anyone else have an idea of what can go wrong during this type of install ?

so there aren't any sensors at all on the brakes that could prevent the car from starting? For some reason the traction control light, abs light, and brake light all are lit up even though the parking brake is off etc... Didnt know if that was causing the car from not starting since maybe some sensor is off....

does anyone know about that rubber piece inside the stock rotors? Does that push on a sensor letting it know the rotor is in contact? Im going to go out now and take the wheels off to inspect everything. Not sure if when the rotor was pulled off if some e-brake part or sensor was somehow removed. I guess ill see once i go out and look.

Glad you figured that one out... I remember my battery being pretty weak after I bled my Big Brake Kit... but I have a much smaller battery.
and yes the rubber stock piece you are referring to is the rubber grommet that is used for the major adjustment of the parking brake...
... just take it off the stock rotor and move it to the new rotor.
