Car Manual

Recently got a 03 CL and was promised by the salesman that the Manual for the car was on order. Been 3 weeks now and I have heard and received nothing. The sales guy told me that he would check on the order about a week ago but I have not heard from him. Should I report this to the manager of the dealership or is there some other way to get the manual?

Report him...same thing happened to me with a second set of keys. They sold me the car with 1 key and said they'll send the others in the mail. Then they kept blowing me off for over a month before they finally agreed. That was after a complaint to Acura's corporate headquarters.

Was this at Inskip ?? I've noticed that their customer service isn't as good as it could be...

Welcome to the forum !!

I would probably call the sales mananger to see what's up. If they promised it to you, you should get it (without paying).

The link ShawnS provided shows that Helms has 'em in stock. I got my Helms service manual with a week of ordering it, so I don't know why you'd have to wait long for it unless the dealership has problems getting their stock from and internal acura source instead of straight from helms.

Same thing happened to me when I bought the CLS. Mine took like a month to get here along with my "03 floormats"

Thanks for all the good advice. I'll give the guy one more week before I call the manager. And if that doesn't work, I'll call the 1-800 number. .

yeah, inskip is a bunch of assholes. They tried passing the blame on each other for why I didn't have my keys or pretending like they had no idea what i was talking about. I'm not a big fan of inskip anymore.
