Can RL/TL rotors and calipers fit our CLS?

Thanks for reading. You guys are like some car gurus and I get all of my information from you all.

I wanted to know if 2nd generation RL calipers that say (ACURA) and if the rotors fit on our CLS's?

I believe the rotors are either drilled or slotted and I wanted to go with those instead of paying a hell of a lot for rotors like Brembo or Stoptech.

I wanted to know if the 4th generation or maybe 3rd generation brake parts work as well. They all measure to be placed on the 17 inch tires. Just let me know if I can use em and can I order them from the OEM website.

Thanks.

you would have to have custom brackets made the only calipers that are direct bolt on are the nsx ones and the legend calipers

I gotchu. So it sounds like getting those custom bracklets would be kinda expensive.

I just didn't want to spend the 2k for the brembo brake package. A friend of mine said I could probably bring together different parts and still have a good setup.

Thanks for responding. Looks like ill have to search for legend calipers.

Plenty of people run them. They are good.

Ive always wondered why the Rotora kits are so damn expensive, especially when the Wilwood kits are better (both in price and function).

Civicdrivr-dawg, ur wheels look so sexy. Thas wasup. I fucks wit them joints. Great job.

Aight, ill look into Wilwood and see what they have. So far, I did a quick look on ebay for rotors and calipers and it seems kinda cheap to buy the parts separately.

But if the wilwood's go for just about 800, ill look into those. Thanks yall.

for stock wheels rotora requires 5mm spacer, for wilwood you need 15mm spacers.

add that to the cost and re-evaluate.
plus the willwood I believe has a smaller contact/gripping surface area on the rotor-caliper

i'm sure he does, but u know how it is..

it takes year to build ur reputation and seconds to destroy is.

I.E willwood could be a really good company but if they screw up once and lots of people hear about it, then that ONE mistake can ruin their whole rep.

So you gotta make sure ur weigh things properly

HAHAHA now that's 5.5million vehicles recalled out of however many they've sold.

even tho they've sold a shyt load..... 5.5 million is a LOT of F*** ups regardless, and now toyota's name has been severely tarnished and honda will hopefully take their place as number one.

probably will end up being Ford tho :-(... but i'll give them credit out of all the US auto manufacturers they've held ity together quite well
