hey guys

can any one tell me if the CL type S stock mufflers will fit a 98-up V6 accord???

not sure if anyone is going to be able to answer this one except bnut or some of the accord guys. hopefully one of them will chime in. you might want to email/pm Jens or Wayne and ask them.

I took a quick look at the CT website to do some comparisons... the CLS exhausts that they sell is a different part # as opposed to the one for the accord.. But with that being said, the HKS Dragers I have on the CLS are supposed to be for an Accord V6 anyhow and with no mods, it bols right on. Will this process work in reverse? I even bolted a TL exhaust to the CLS... I don't see why it can't be done.

The only thing I can say for sure is the OEM factory exhaust gaskets that go between the b-pipe and mufflers for the Accords, and CLS/TLS are different. This I know for sure.

When I had my Comptech exhaust, I picked up two new gaskets for Accord V6 from my local Honda dealer, as they give me great prices on parts. Only to find they didn't fit (too small.)

As for them being able to bolt up, I wouldn't see why not. But you might have exhaust leaks at the mounting points, as the CLS muffler pipes are larger diameter. But don't quote me on this, I haven't tried it.

i can tell you i know for a fact they fit...i sold my comp exhaust to my friend who was repairing a 99 accord v6...if comps fit my car and accord,and my oem fits my car ,than reason says,, my oem will fit accord.
