Can 2001-2002 driving lights be put into a 2003? If so what would have to be done? Has anyone here done that mod?

yes, you just swap out the plastic inserts for the road lamps and run the wiring.

right, they are the same size and everything. not exactly sure how you go about the wiring...but someone will probably chime in.

you can buy them from the dealer... costs around $100 for everything I think.

but if you are gonna do that, you might as well put in some actual driving lamps/ fog lamps instead. the factory lights are just road lamps, they don't actually do anything.

Would anyone happen to know of any fog lights that utilize the 2001 housing? I like your lights ^, but I'd rather mine fit the original housing.

I believe the lenses will melt if you try to put any kind of actual driving/fog lamp in them. They are only designed for the 5 watt indicator bulb...

The plastic lense EXTREMELY limits the amount of wattage you can run through the stock housings. The MAX I would ever run is 18 watts. That is extremely low as far as fog lamps go. Most are 55 watt halogen bulbs. If you are going for the OEM look it is very easy to swap in the '01-'02 road lamps and run the wiring. It really isn't that involved.

That looks awesome. What fogs did you use? Do you have any close up pics of them installed?
