Just surious if i should even bother with this...I know i dont want any hissing nosies from my engine. So do you think i should get it, and if its worth it, how do you like yours?

It seems to make a bit more power, but the cops will hear you miles away.
I'm keeping mine, but my AEM is really loud, and if your planning on avoiding police -- forget about it; they will hear you from a mile away.
As far as the hissing noises go -- if you don't like people asking questions about the little farts the intake will make, you might want to reconsider.
Finally, if you enjoy scaring the heck out of people at 6700 RPM in 2nd or 3rd gear, you will love it. (Be sure they look kind of crazy and have a convertible or their window is down when you pass them.)

I have a silver AEM CAI with bypass and live in the desert, I don't notice any of the loud sounds listed above, granted the engine sounds louder, but no hissing or farts, The VTEC sounds more pronounced at higher RPMS and I think it sounds sweet, but then again I never drive with the windows down either

Please get your ears checked, I'm very concerned about your hearing. (I'm am not kidding.)
I just took a member out for a ride, and they noticed it was quite loud. I can hear mine bouncing off the hills.
Finally, don't take my word for it -- look through the previous posts on the CAI (AEM, Xepher, etc [bypass or not]) and you will see that there are tons of comments about the hissing and "farting" sounds that come from the intake at:
1. Idle
2. Shutdown
3. Startup
4. And other sundry conditions.
