The AEM CAI for the 6spd IS out and I got it and installed it last night!!!
Edit:
Ahh the frown should be a smile but I cant change it...O well
Edit:
So last night when I got home UPS had delivered my new CAI made just for us 6spders I installed it last night and it fits very well....much better than my automatic CAI that I cut and rigged to get it to fit. At first sight the one for the 6spd has a little different bend to it. It looks better to me actually...like the bend right where the filter attaches is like a 90 degree on the auto one and on the 6spd one its more like 45. The filter also seems to sit a little higher than the auto one. I would have taken pics of the new one but I didn't have a camera and I wasn't waiting to install it I will take pics of it installed though as soon as I can get my hands on a digi camera. My first impressions of the new one compared to my old cut one is the new one sounds different...a little deeper and maybe not quite so high pitched (better if you ask me). I don't know if that's because of the slightly different bends or the fact that the pipe is actually now longer than the cut one. I did hook it up a little different than I ever have before and I hope I did it right?!?! I took out the stock metal breather hose/coolant line and replaced it with the supplied rubber breather hose. The coolant line I re-routed that back straight to the nipple under the throttle body. It used to go from one nipple to the metal breather/coolant line and then to the nipple under the TB. Any ideas why it goes through all that when it could have just skipped the metal line and go the shorter rout in the first place??? I did have a good amount of coolant (green/freon) stuff come out when I disconnected these hoses but I poured it back in when I was done. I will snap some pics as soon as I can
Now it may also feel like it has a little more power but that could all be in my head or the fact that the original CAI filter on there had about 15k of miles on it and now its spanken new?!?!

You didn't say what brand, but I suspect that you're talking about AEM's 21-509.
Thanks for the great review - information that I was looking for.
I'm still debating between a CAI and the IceBox (and still waiting for the IceBox to be released).

errrr... ok... i got mine like a month ago, and installed like a month ago..... yes, to me, i think the CAI actually feels more power then header for some reason... but now since i have CAI, Header, pulleys and stuff on 6spd... its HARD to launch without spin out in first gear... evev with Potenza S03.... any ideas?

Now laser I didnt mean that the CAI feels like it has more power than the headers...I just ment that it feels like it might have a little more pep than the AEM I had on there that was cut and from my old auto cl-s. The headers added way more than the CAI.
