The alpine was the best imo last year. Kenwood just put out a new one, that may be the best on the market now.

i agree, pioneer is excellent for options it offers and so easy to navigate. quality is also excellent. getting ready for dec. 2003 for the 2004 stuff to come out. getting ready to restock the store.

im really freakin tired of the alpine, clarion bandwagon.

are you sure cause last I checked Alpine has the hottest deck out and best Navi out.....Pioneer decks have nice features but I really think Alpine and Kenwood has best sound quality. Alpine has a 1 megapixel 7" screen that looks like my tv at home.

I dont bash any of those brands I think they are all great but alpine is a little ahead of the game right now dont know about next year.

Alpines new software for the Navi. has 2 dual layer DVD 8.5 gigs each..one for the west coast and one for the east. Over 11 million points of interest

has 8 POIs displayed on the map

just look at the lake on the screen dont you just want to dive in

Out of all my pioneer equipment I think the Navi is my favorite. I am not sure but does any of the other brands offer a 3D 1st person view while driving? This feature always has the girls oooowing and aahhhing. Also I can slipt the screen so 1/2 is the bird's eye map, and the other half of the screen is 1st person. 1st person even has a little dashboard with working speedo, no that's cool!
