don't know what a trac daz is, but there is a track day at thunderhill today (4/3). only for motorcycles. they're really fun. couldn't go to this one cause i need new tires and no money for the fee. motorcycles are much more fun to ride on the track than a car.

Motorcycles are more fun to ride anywhere. What do you pay at Thunderhill for a day? I have a chance to go up there also.

I did it

I did one at Buttonwillow last year but in my 280Z, not my CL-S. Since I already hold an SCCA racing license, my need for speed is already fulfilled and I already knew all the theories that they teach. For me, it was more of an opportunity to run the Z and see what it would do.

If you have no racing experience (on the track that is) it is a nice way to learn the theories and apply them realtime, using your car. You'll also learn what your car is capable of as you can generally push it to the limit. Keep in mind, other cars are around as well so there is a slight chance of contact.

Enjoy.

$200. this day was a two for one though. so you actually get two track days for $200. do you ride? we should hook up if you do.
