burning smell from valve cover

So for the last few weeks Ive been noticing a burning oil smell from my valve cover. theres some smoke, just a but though. It hasnt seemed to really affect anything except for the fact you can smell burning oil. It must not be a significant amount because my oil level is still good. Any one have a clue to how to fix this?

Milky oil means that the coolant mixed with it. = Headgasket leak... bye bye motor.
Lucky you don't have that problem.
