Do a search here or on acura-tl.com on PIAA and Polarg. MOst liked the PIAA 19169's until someone found the Polarg M6. They both match the HIDs but the Polargs are brighter (more juice) but much larger and harder to find and harder to get through the little hole. Some also like the PIAA19173(?) which are more yellow than the 169's - personal choice. Do a search....

I believe the PIAA 19169's won the “battle of the bulbs”.
That’s what I have and I think they match the Xenon’s quite well.
They will do until someone comes out with a fog or driving light that fits in there nicely.

i got the polargs and don't like them--the bulbs themselves are blue and make the mapli...fog lights look like leetle eyeballs!!
they don't match up too well with the HID's after everything has warmed up
...of course, that's just MY opinion

I'd like to voice my opinion for the Polarg M6 bulbs
They are not that hard to get through the socket, just have a few seconds of patience
and bingo they're in..
In terms of brightness, see for yourself:
http://albums.photopoint.com/j/Album...725&a=10598982
They don't look like maplights to me..
I'm not sure what silverESS is yappin about by bluish color because both the PIAA bulbs and Polargs are blue color bulbs but emit HID-like white.
It's true that Polargs aren't easy to find ..but I think on average they cost a bit less than the PIAAs
As for the PIAAs, i'm actually saving them to replace door courtesy lights or probably maplights.
Thats my .02

Somebody posted pictired of each set of bulbs for the driving lights. They were all sanwiched on top of eath other. There was a set that didn't have that HID type light, but were brighter than stock bulbs. Those are the bulbs I want, but I don't know what the heck they are.

I just purchased some PIAA 19169's from www.autocarparts.com and I'm curious, has it ever been resolved that you need to wear gloves when putting these bulbs in or is it okay to touch them with bare fingers?

Polarg m6's. I have to agree the polarg m4's do look blue and don't match the hid's at all. but the Polarg m6's are much brighter and whiter than the piaa 69's. Get the polarg. I've seen both m4's and the piaa 69's and I like the m6's Everyone says it matches perfectly. Some even asked if those where Hid fogs when they saw my car from far away.

Are the M6 the same color as the stock bulbs?

I've had the PIAA 19170's and now the M6's. It is REAL obvious to me that the Polargs are MUCH better. Anybody here who is saying the PIAA's are better is either nuts or has not seen the Polargs. Sorry and yes, this is JMHO.
The PIAA's are dull and not that much different than the stock. The Polargs are 3.6 watts higher and it shows.
Sorry to read that you ordered the PIAA's. Oh well, just make sure you don't look at someone elses car with the Polargs or you will be bummed.

Sorry if this detracts from the topic but do you guys get flashed by other cars at all?
First off those HIDs are bright, then you're putting more very bright lights on top of them. Just curious if other drivers on the road flash you as if you have your brights on?
Ciao,

Thanks. Actually I saw a bimmer with brighter driving lights and I noticed ours don't really do anything.
I don't want it to bother other drivers by any means. I just figured when these lights burn out I'll put brither ones in there.
